Frequently asked questions
Is FindBuild free?
Yes. Accounts, search, the Project Room and messaging are free for customers, professionals and companies. FindBuild doesn't charge per lead. If optional paid tools come later, we'll explain them clearly before anything is charged.
What services are on FindBuild?
Two areas: Build & Renovation (remodeling, handyman, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and more) and Property & Facility Services (residential and commercial cleaning, janitorial, landscaping, property maintenance and more). We're starting in Florida and Massachusetts.
Does FindBuild check licenses?
Not yet. FindBuild confirms email, which isn't an identity or license check. In Florida, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing and general contracting work require a state license — ask for the license number and check it at myfloridalicense.com before hiring.
Who sees my contact details?
Customers talk with professionals inside FindBuild; professionals don't see a customer's email or phone. Professionals and companies choose whether to show their email or phone on their public page.
What if there's nobody in my area yet?
FindBuild is new and only lists real, verified accounts. If a search has no results, leave your email and we'll write once when matching professionals join near you.
Is FindBuild a staffing agency or a contractor?
No. FindBuild is a marketplace platform. It doesn't employ professionals, perform work, guarantee results or process payments. Agreements are between the customer and the professional.
